Time…The Beach and Heaven

Yesterday I was coming to the beach for a swim with the kids and I walked by a lady and I said “Good morning…no wait, good afternoon”.  She said to me, “It doesn’t matter, when I’m at the beach I don’t pay any attention to the time”.  There is something about being at the beach where time just sort of melts away.  That got me thinking about what it will be like in heaven.  Since heaven will be eternal, there will be no time.  There will only be eternal joy and rest for those who have received Jesus Christ as Savior and only eternal sorrow for those who have not….no measure of time…just forever.

So the next time you find yourself at the beach; not knowing whether it is the morning or the afternoon, just remember that heaven will be like this….without the irritating sand stuck to your feet!
