Paul’s Prayer for You

One of my favorite things about Paul’s writings are his prayers for the churches.  Here is one that I hope you will receive from him and if it’s ok with you, I’d also like to pray this for each of you:  “¹¹ Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you. ¹² And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, ¹³ so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.”  There are many ways in which we can pray for one another.  These two requests are pretty high on the list.  I pray that God would increase your love for God and for others as well. I also pray that God would give you holiness, a separation from this world; a purity of thought and mind, an absence of sin and a presence of love and good works.  This kind of holiness can only come from Him.  I pray that you receive it and live it.
