Judgment Knows No Race or Class

Isaiah chapter 24 is a chapter of judgment. God will judge people who do not know His Son Jesus Christ and God’s judgment will be perfectly right and will cross all racial and socio-economical lines. We have imperfect justice. People with money and influence are judged less severely than those without those things. Do you think OJ Simpson would have been acquitted if he had a public defender? I don’t think so! Sentencing in jails is not handed down evenly. But look at what Isaiah writes in the beginning of chapter 24: Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants. And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; As with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor. The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word.

No class of people or type of people will escape the judgment of God….God will not render judgment differently on the buyer/seller or the people/priest. The New Testament has revealed to us that Jesus is the Savior of the world. He is the only mediator between God and men. Receiving Him as Savior and Lord is the only way to escape judgment of sin…so receive Him today. If you have questions, please message me.
