Judging the Fairness of God

Ezekiel continues to share his message of judgment. As you might expect, the people question the fairness of God. When we are being judged or when bad things happen, we tend to question the fairness of God don’t we? Few people question the fairness of God when something really good happens to them. We rarely say, “I just got something good I didn’t deserve…God isn’t fair to allow this good thing to happen to me”. But it works both ways doesn’t it?   I want to encourage you not to try to judge the fairness of God. God never does anything wrong. He can show mercy to whom He desires and He will judge those who deserve to be judged. Accept both the good and the challenging from God without making your own judgment on the fairness of God’s character.
