Another Great Prayer

Sometimes I think people don’t pray much because they can’t think of anything to pray about. Yet in the Bible there are some great prayers that you can ask God about regarding your friends and family.  Here it is in verses 11-12 of chapter 1:  “¹¹ Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, ¹² that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” I think this is something that would be great for God to do in your life or the lives of those you love.  I can’t think of too many things I want God to do for me more than to fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power.  That pretty much sums it up.  A little homework this morning:  Think of five people in your life and pray this prayer for them right now.
